Its 6 weeks since i began my journey (again) on this site and its going well! Im 8.6lbs down and fitter than ive ever been.
Looking back when i was younger my emphasis was on being "thinner" or looking "skinnier". Now im in my 40's my priority is to be fitter and "leaner"....i dont want to be thin...i want to be strong!
I have more patience now and am prepared to work hard to reach my goals...i dont expect a quick fix anymore. This in turn has taken pressure off and im enjoying the small victories each week....loosing a lb (in the past i would have been disappointed with that!), being able to run an extra km, feeling a looser waistband!
So i reached my first mini goal of getting into the 11stone bracket...i had given myself to March and achieved it this morning. My next goal is going to be to get to 11 stone and i would like to achieve that by the end of April π
