l'm glad l have found this place. l have wanted to find somewhere where l can read and share my thoughts and feelings with others who are in the same boat as me!!! l feel slightly more hopeful again that l can do something about my weight.l want to stop the 'l'll start my diet monday' and be off the wagon by tuesday!!!x

Welcome. I'm glad I found it too. I've been on so many diets but this 12 week plan is about lifestyle changes. It's slow weight loss which is one of my issues as I want to lose weight fast. I have to tell myself that this time it's not a quick short term fix but a new way of living. Better food choices and move more. I find keeping a daily food diary to count calories really helpful. lve done the liquid diets when l have lost 13 pounds in a week,this has been crazy and dangerous.AND to top it all, no one noticed!!!! My guidance to anyone is slow and easy and enjoy the grub your eating x

Maybe rethink the 'diet' lark and just think of making small changes it certainly worked for me and if not already have a look at the NHS 12 week plan a good start to get you rethinking your journey.
On a Monday there a weigh in post from Prin or Lowcal they are part of the fab five and it's a great motivator and support.

I never started my diet, it kind of just happened. I made gradual changes with diet and exercise and then thought I'd weigh myself and see if the lbs came off and they did.
Gradual lifestyle changes are better than telling yourself you're on a diet and starting on a particular day.
This is a fab site for support etc. so make good use of it.

Keep focused that's a good way to start ,and remember why u r doing this , I have just done my first week without chocolate bars and sweets and feel great , so feeling good , u will get there .
