I'm not going out this weekend but I still feel I struggle the most or don't count my food properly. Many times the good work from fives days is cut by the weekend. Does anyone have any tips?

Weekend troubles!
I always weigh myself Saturday morning and again on Monday morning. The Monday morning weight I post to Lowcals Monday morning thread. The timing keeps me reasonably straight. worth a try?
Plan some things to do - a walk somewhere, especially if it's a clear day - it's relatively sunny here - is it the same where you are? We should make the most of that vitamin D while we can. Also, plan the week ahead - this can help keep you on the straight and narrow. Cook a nice dinner tonight with a few extra portions. Freeze the extra portions straight away (before you sit down to eat - that way, there's no danger of coming back for 'seconds'). Then you'll start to associate all the healthy pre-prepared meals in your freezer with the fact you have time to plan ahead at the weekends. Every weekend plan another new recipe to try and batch-cook, make sure you have plenty of tupperware pots, and enjoy the process. I find this satisfies the foodie in me - I still get to cook in large amounts, but don't end up eating the large amounts too
Hi, thank you for your suggestions. Oddly after my post I've had a good weekend. I Think the issue is that during the week I always plan my lunch and count it up the night before, dinner is planned to be under 600 kcal. At the weekend there's more chance of eating out and I just play it by ear not counting as I go along. This weekend it's seemed to result in me eating less but I think I need to work more planning in. Next weekend I know I ha e too meals out, one of which is a Buffett which I always hard to deal with.
