Hi Tink....so, seven pounds burnt away and never to return....if you hadn't taken this life changing decision you could be ten pounds heavier than you are today?....slow but sure Tink...you're so going in the right dirction...go you! Celebrate! Feel the feeling of being healthy! πŸ˜ƒ

I only lost 3/4lb this week too, but I'm feeling very positive about it, because it could have been a whole lot worse.

Try not to fixate on the number of pounds lost, but try to be more positive about other things that are going on.

You've mentioned that you've increased your exercise, well that's great. I expect a few weeks ago, you'd have been vegging out in front of the telly with a bag of crisps, or suchlike :)

You need to enjoy your journey and celebrate every success, or you'll never reach your end goal

Remember, this isn't a quick fix, but a whole new way of life.

Chin up, onwards and downwards :)

So very true, think of all those cals you lost to lose 3/4lb, nearly a 1lb, and remember those that have less to change, will lose less!

7lbs is 35lbs of your knees, imagine 6 and 1/2 bags of sugar to carry now

My weight has come off slowly too, some weeks ony 2-4 ounces (and now I've blown a whole chunk with a holiday too). I stick (when not holidaying) to 1400 calories per day and I exercise. It can be disheartening but I've found measuring my waist, hips and bust usually gives me a boost even when the actual weight lost is minimal. I have found that constantly shaking up my exercise regime helps and varying my diet - keeps my body guessing perhaps but staves off the boredom for myself
