Have just done day 1 of this....although I did on treadmill as I don't think the locals are ready to see me running red and sweaty lol.... Feel proud I managed it!.... Onwards and downwards lol xxx

Congratulations! It's an amazing programme - following it and I promise it works! I really struggled with the first week, but now I'm one 30 min run away from graduating (and I'm a stone and 4 lbs down to boot :))

Well done for starting. When I first started I was so embarrassed I actually ran around my flat! Well when I say run I mean about 2 seconds of running and then stopping! But now im not embarrassed to run outside. In going really slowly through the programme because that suits me but in really proud that I have continued with it for so long. It is really great to be able to.run a little way without embarrassing (or killing myself). If running on a treadmill suits you that is great.
Nice one for starting too. Perhaps when the weather cools and you start to feel more confident you might try the odd run outdoors (although no problem with running on the treadmill until then - whatever works!) I was also very self-conscious at the beginning - badly fitting clothes, sweaty, red-faced - all these still apply! But learning to run is a great confidence booster that starts to make you feel less self-conscious.
Morning Yvonne, I tried it before and gave up but this morning I downloaded the app and now im at a gym I plan to start it today on the treadmill, I tried it in a local
Park last time but couldnt get into it!! So we can do this 👍
Lol have to b honest I gave up as the pain in my hips was unbearable....gonna give it a few days then try again but power walking instead of running!... I have arthritis in my hips and I think running at the size I am was to much....but good luck and I shall b trying again nxt week xxx
