I just did my first couch to 5k session. Not going to lie, I could have picked a better day, it started raining just as I started the last 5 minutes walk part, and then I still needed to get back to my house. Very muddy but I feel pretty smug haha. I have always hated running, so this is a big thing for me! I love working out at the gym, doing gym classes and playing racquet sports but running in public fills me with dread. Anyone else here doing the c25k challenge?

Hi, I’ve dipped in and out of the couch25k for about 5 years and got to week 9 run for 30 mins then stop! BUT! I have been running 30 mins reasonably regularly since beginning of Jan and although I wouldn’t say I love it, I do enjoy it and the sense of achievement I’m getting - can’t do 5k in 30 mins but almost 4K I’m 57 and very happy with that and I’m improving! Jo Whiley is my coach and I love her voice! Keep going!

Aww that's amazing, man!! I wanted to use Sarah Milligan but it wouldn't load so I went with Jo too she was so nice!!! 4k is amazing I would be chuffed with that and I'm 27 so bravo, sir!
