Hello and welcome, I have no doubt at all that you will find all the help, support and encouragement you need right here on this forum. Everyone here is on the same journey as you, some are further into the journey and some with further to go than others but we all have a weight problem in common. I started the NHS 12 week health plan and today is the beginning of week 4 for me. I find noting down everything I eat and calculating the amount of calories suits me, that way I don't exceed the daily allowance, some people have downloaded an app to their phone to do this. Hi, i've jst started trying to lose weight aswell. I was a sucker for lots of chocolate and big bags of Doritos in the evening. Just by cutting things like them out i am steadily losing weight. I try to sneak in lettuce in my sandwiches - i never used to! I am cutting down to one sugar in my coffee instead of 2. Also trying to make the effort to go for a walk every day. Cheese flavoured snack-a-jacks are now my dorito substitute. Not sure if any of my ramblings will help but i thought i'd write it. All the best for the future!! Good Luck.
Hi Thank you for messaging me.. your not rambling at all. Iv cut down on my crisps I love them with a chunk of cheese! I don't eat much chocolate but I am partial to a glass of vino.. but always have been it's just the weight has crept on lately.. i know what I should do and have been sort of doing it but with no hope so far! anyway good luck yourself sounds like you got it sorted. best of luck to you xx
Welcome, I hope you find what you need in this community. You'll find many motivational posts here! Start by dowloading an app on your phone to keep track of calories (Fat Secret, My Fitness Pal...), it's a great aid! Good luck!
