Hi everyone, I made it to week 11 yeah me. 1 lb lost this week. That's 32 lbs to date.
I must admit I did think that I would lose more, HOWEVER I have noticed such an increase in muscle all over. Where I couldn't feel muscle before, I do now.
I tried on 4 different pairs of jeans/trousers this week that did not fit me what so ever!! and this week they all fit This is an amazing result which just inspires me to work just as hard if not harder as I continue on my journey.
I have done 403 minutes of exercise this week. I have stepped it up and broke down some walls. I have really pushed and am really happy with all I have achieved this week.
Here's to week 12. Bring it on. I wish everyone a happy week and successful weight loss x

Wow, that's great that you're noticing so many positive changes. Really well done, and Congratulations on losing 1 pound this week - I think that's really good.
Great that those jeans and trousers all fit now, and also that you're feeling toned and fit.
Have a great weekend and another great week ahead.
Hi Lowcal, thank you for your support and encouragement. I am really going to step it up this week as it is the last week of the 12 week nhs plan and I really want to end this 12 weeks with a bang if possible. This is just my first goal...to reach week 12, then my next goal is 18th April this is because I have two weeks off work over Easter and really have time to focus on me and not work. I plan on going swimming starting the first week of Easter and I am excited about it.
Again thank you so much and you have a great weekend too hun x

Hi Redder, Thank you. This community has really helped me on my journey, it is full of lovely people who all support each other and offer advise hints and tips and can get you through some tough times. It's a great community.
Hey well done sounds like you are having a great week on all fronts, i hope this next week is just as good for you, you have obviously found works for you so keep up the good work
Hiya fibronfedup, When I started this journey I knew that I would not give up on myself. I had the knowledge on how to lose the weight and eat right, but found I had some walls that were going to stop me if I didn't break them down. My first one was the fear of going to the gym and having all those people look at me. The second was letting other know what I was doing just in case I failed and the third was reaching a point in my exercise and not pushing through the pain to exceed my own time. Mind over body. Along the way I have broken down all these walls down over the weeks and my last break though has just happened this week. Oh and I dropped a trouser size woohoo I love the support I have received from this community and reading other inspiring journeys like yours.
I remember a post you wrote where you lost 41 lbs in NOT RECOGNISED and I wished I was in your shoes. I never forget this post because this post inspired me to push myself. You have been an inspiration to a lot of people on this forum so well done you are amazing. Keep it up x
Lol, it is such a good feeling especially when I have tried on 4 different ones and they all fit and they are not even from the same shop. So I know all my hard work is paying off. Thank you nhs2015 for your support. Let's keep going on our journeys and stay focused on the end goal which is to be happy and healthy in our own body's. x
Well done, what a success, as you have been able to actually lose substantial weight, can you give a few tips. I cannot do a lot of exercise due to heart problems that are still under investigation, but I can swim and walk up to about a mile. However I would love to hear your general regime as I am finding it difficult to lose, one week lose 3 lbs and then put it back on, so please any advice gratefully received. Often very busy and then go for a biscuit to keep me going, or munch in front of tele, also hard to not snack in between healthy meals, not good I know but have to be honest.
Hi Coho and thank you. I eat 3 meals a day and have and snake on fruit. So for breakfast I would eat Weetabix or have scrambled egg on 1 slice whole wheat toast with a small portion of beans. Snack at 11 am so that would be fruit and 2 crackers. Lunch would be soup or turkey salad sandwich/pita and I would have my dinner, but I don't eat anything after 6 pm at the latest which may sound early to some but I am in bed for 9 am or 9:30 most days. Finding a routine that you can stick to will really help you on your journey I find that my routine is easy to stick to as it is worked around my day and my commitments.
I believe that reaching for a snack such as a biscuit is out of habit and to lose the weight we have to break those habits that got us here in the first place and be more active in life. When I was at my healthiest weight I wasn't sedentary, I just became this way. Life got tough for me and I was stressed and to pass the time of day I would eat mindlessly and didn't care, but I woke up one day and found that I am happy with life why not change the way I look and be even more happy. So I did 11 weeks ago to be exact and I don't want to ever look back. I am making these changes for me and you can to. Believe that you can and you will succeed on your journey. You can walk a mile then try walking a mile everyday and you can swim which is a great exercise so go for it. I wish you every success on your journey.
Well done on your success - its great when you see differences like those you have listed above - keep it up, no going back now
No going back to that sedentary life style. No more hiding away. The weather is picking up now so I'm excited to be able to wear smaller clothes and feel comfortable in my own body. Keep up the good work.
