Week 43 and I am down 2 lbs I am really pleased with this result and took the advice of Lowcal and Ruth and found time to relax and enjoy my time off. Your advice has stuck with me throughout the week so I had chosen not to step it up and to take everything in my stride and I am really glad I did listen so thank you both. Oh and the knees are fine
So with a 2 lb loss I have now made it into the 150's and pleased to report I am now 159 lbs which is the number I was aiming for this week and another two milestones achieved. Losing over 80 lbs and getting into the 150's.With another just on the horizon. Another 3 lbs will see me reach the 6 st mark so very exciting times ahead Even more exciting than all of that we have now booked our wedding date for February 2016 so it's official, it's all happening.
When I began this journey in Jan 2015 I never expected to be planning on getting married the following year, but all the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit perfectly into place for me and whilst the remaining pieces are still to be put into place to complete the puzzle I feel completely whole.
Have a lovely and enjoyable week ahead everyone

This is such wonderful news - I am so happy for you - you are simply knocking down every hindrance in your way. What great milestones to be hitting and a wedding coming up?
I'm absolutely thrilled for you Trafford, you are a true trailblazer, forging a path for us all to follow. Your achievements are second to none. Just 3lb to 6st lost is fabulous.
I can't wait to see the piccies of you in your wedding dress
Thank you moreless, I will definitely be posting a picture in my wedding dress on here and I look forward to doing so and looking forward to reaching another milestone maybe in the next 2 weeks I can hit this target x
Wow, what an inspiring post - your posts are always inspiring Trafford1, but this one is particularly so - you've achieved 2 milestones (losing 80 pounds in total - amazing!), and also getting into the 150's, and you're so close to achieving a total loss of 6 stone (just 3 pounds left to go before you achieve that). Congratulations on those milestones, and also on losing 2 pounds this week, which I know was your weekly goal - and it's great to hear you enjoyed relaxing over your holiday - really glad you did that, and most importantly that you enjoyed yourself. Glad your knees are ok too.
How exciting that your Wedding date is set for February 2016 - that is particularly exciting - and such a wonderful way to start off the New Year - like you say, the pieces of the jigsaw have fallen into place, and are creating a beautiful picture.
Wishing you another great week ahead and a great Sunday too.
Hi Lowcal, thank you hun lot's of milestones today and feeling on top of the world. I hope to lose those 3 lbs in the next 2 weeks which I am looking forward to and reaching that next milestone.
I am so happy I took your advice and chilled out and didn't push myself too hard as I wouldn't have felt refreshed returning to work and it's been proven that I didn't have to go at it because I still got the results I wanted this week and I plan to continue to not go above and beyond my own expectations because I don't have to.
The pieces of the jigsaw have fallen into place and I love the way you have described creating a beautiful picture aww that's so nice
Thank you for your continued support Lowcal and all of your lovely words
You are really inspiring Trafford1. Since I read your post I have sat here thinking that it can be done and I will carry on until I get there. You have really inspired me, thank you.
What a lovely time you have to look forward to, reaching your targets and a wedding, how lovely.
You are very kind and I thank you. I am glad I inspire you and that my post 43 weeks into my journey has shown you that no matter how long the journey as long as you stick with it can be done and that's what is important.
Never give up on you or your dreams as they will all come true
Wow Trafford, you really brighten up this Saturday 🌞 you are having a great run of good weeks. When will you pick out your wedding dress ? Will someone check the fit again just before? Lovely plans.
That's really nice to hear Gonti, thank you hun I have had a good run over the weeks well since the beginning. I've never put any weight on since beginning this journey so I feel I will hit my target by Jan 4th 2016. I will be going to look at some dresses and maybe trying some on, but won't be buying a dress until I reach a size 10 as this is my ultimate goal. Going to go Debenhams and see what dresses they have as I hear they have some lovely shoes and dresses. Nothing to over the top for me I imagine as I am quite shy and don't like the lime light, but beautiful either way and will show off my new figure Exciting times ahead

Hi Trafford1, I'm so pleased for you, having faith that you will lose weight without pushing yourself to the limit during your time off. I can really sympathise with this, as fitting in exercise around work has been my big challenge at the moment. It goes to show you're doing so much more than just maxxing out the exercise, you're really getting to know what works, which types of exercise to focus on, and being really disciplined with what you eat.
Big congrats on setting the wedding date. That will be a great finale to this whole process. Also your achievements are astounding. You've lost more than half of what you currently weigh. And you've really generously recorded your journey on here, so that people can see how you've done it. Enjoy planning what you'll do when you reach your final goal (do you have a final goal in mind now?)
Hi Ruth I would first like to just say thank you for the advice both you and Lowcal gave me last week it has all worked out and thank you for your lovely post today as always
I feel well in touch with what works for me and how to make the possible, possible and yes I am very disciplined, but do have the occasional treat and a day off every week to enjoy the simple things in life and it works for me.
Thank you for the congrats and for pointing out that this big day that is now set will be a great finale to this whole process, I didn't even think about it like that, but you are so right Ruth
My final goal is to lose 92 lbs by Jan 4th and it is definitely on the cards, so I have 9 weeks to reach this goal and I don't think it will be easy as this whole journey hasn't been easy although sometimes it comes across that way, but I have put in so much effort and educated myself on what's right, what's wrong and received some excellent advise and support along the way and that's what keeps me going so 92 lbs and then we will see what the next chapter looks like.
I will report back to you whether I do my Sunday run (!) You're right it's not easy. I don't think you make it look easy either. Enjoy your last weekend of freedom before returning to work, and enjoy the feeling of knowing you are in control, your goals are definitely achievable, and you know how good it will feel when you get there
