Well it's 1.03am Monday the 12th & I'm just about to embark on my diet in the morning I'm all geared up I've bought a pedometer, booked in to do yoga on Thursdays, got a new set of ear phones for my mobile so I can start jogging (adventurous) I know lol & loads of healthy ingredients. I'm excited though, not at the prospect of stepping on the scales in the morning though well wish me luck, I'll let you know how I get on my target is 10,000 steps a day & total weight loss of 5 stone bye for now Niki xxx

I started 8 Jan after getting blood results from GP - must lower glucose reading and cholesterol - next tests in 12 weeks - like you bought lots of healthy food - haven't been moving around much lately so brisk walk at lunchtimes - using the bottom stair to 'step' for a few minutes a day - plus sprint up. I have just weighed myself and now 12.11 so a lose of 3lbs I have a smile on my face
My waist at start is 39inches - only going to measure waist on the 1st of every month.
Good luck with the pedometer I have never tried one - let me know how you get on. I am waiting for my egg to boil to take in my whole grain granary roll for lunch.
Lol at yoir expression, I wore that same expression 6 mths ago, well take heart. I am now 9lbs under my goal weight and feel great. The first 2/3 weeks are the hardest but it does get easier and the benefits are so worth it. If I can do it, anyone can.
Some days you may falter, but just pick yourself up and start over. Good luck,
You look and sound like a girl on a mission! Anyone that committed and already organised can't fail. You've inspired me, thanks. Looking forward to hearing about your success. God bless
Hi I am also starting today. I have started quite a few times but this time it is for good. Well done in being so organised. You have inspired me on my journey. Thank you and good luck. Karen xx
Hiya and welcome! I've just completed my first week and lost 6.5lbs so really happy and motivated for the next one. Starting, and stepping on the scales is the hardest part but do it, keep going and have a ball! Do it for yourself, no-one else and every pound off, and every step walked, jogged or run is a move in the right direction. I'm loving my swimming and walking, don't even feel selfconcious so it's a great time to be up and out there, everyone really is more concerned about how they look to worry about what you're doing!! Good luck, have fun and go for it xx

good luck with your journey. have you thought about doing couch to 5 k to get you jogging? see link above to forum and a link is also available from the weight loss 12 week plan pages.
I 'celebrated' my 5 months into the diet yesterday with 4 stones lost (only 2 left). Honestly it was not hard at all, it's all about motivation and you have plenty of it
I only started exercising 1 month ago as I felt too unfit before that and now I jog (I'm on week 5 of Couch To 5K) and I do a couple of yoga sessions a week.
