6 pounds added over Christmas :(

Unfortunately I've gone from 12 stone 13 pounds (my lightest in years) on 21st December to 13 stone 5 pounds today! So 6 pounds added over the Christmas week, even though I thought I was eating much more moderately than on previous Christmases. Anyways I'm back to healthy eating now and hope the extra 6 pounds will be quick on and quick off. It does show how easy it is to put the weight back on with just a few days of not eating as healthily as normal plus less exercise than usual.

Wouldn't life be wonderful if it came off as easily as it went on? Best of luck.

Just remember you did it, so you can do it again!

Its so easily done isn't it. Once your back in your routine and exercising again it will come off. Have faith. you have done it before, so you can do it again - all the best x

A lot of the Christmas weight you have gained is fluid and will bring itself right over the next few days or so. I weigh myself everyday and this time last week was three pounds heavier than today. You can put on several pounds over the course of a day even. Don't panic, look at your diet as an ongoing plan and not what you weigh after a special period where you have over done it.
