I am, for the first time taking the 12 week challenge to lose weight. Today is my first day, which I am feeling quite positive about. I have been out for a 5.53km walk today and hope to walk more over the next few weeks.

Hi Jacqrose, congrats on deciding to start the weight loss journey and all the best. I started last week/Monday. So, one week up for me. I've lost 3 pounds. As an Indian and for my height, I find the 1900 cal requirement for men way too high for weight loss. I'm trying to stick to a 1200 cal per day diet. Make sure you use myfitnesspal app to count calories and diligently fill up the NHS weight loss weekly chart. YOU'LL lose weight if you stick to the daily calorie limit. All the best again.
Hi Arbitdude, Thank you so much for your message. This will keep me motivated and yes I will fill in the weekly chart. I will keep posting my journey and hopefully will help others to lose weight as well as myself. Good Luck on your second week and enjoy!
