Hi everyone, I'm new to this, I so need help n motivation to loose the weight I put on whilst ive been ill, I would love to go to the gym but find I haven't got the confidence to do it on my own, can anyone help(Coventry area) thankyou

I don't have the confidence for the gym either and many of us here are the same. Don't panic, help is at hand. There are many workouts on "you tube" for whatever ages and abilities and of course there are many DVD's out there just waiting to be bought. Spend some time deciding what exercise plan would suit you , would be up to your abilities and fun to do! Good luck.

Walk up the stairs, walk for longer periods, buy a resistance band, a hula hoop, kettle bells. Don't just stop because you can't face the gym. Plan it all out, make a routine and stick with it. You know biggal, it doesn't even have to be half an hour, just a few minutes and you will feel good for making that commitment. Get going and good luck.

Don't worry about it too much,take a walk ,just a little further than normal.then just go a little further.and a little faster.walking is so good for you,go to the nearest park and walk around,even take a small flask ,sit down have a coffee and walk back.if its wet.walk on the spot indoors.that sort of thing,just until you get a bit more adventuruos
