Hi I've started for the (3rd time) on Saturday. I'm feeling really tired but the hunger pangs are started to drop. Anyone else?

:)

Your comment 'for the third time' says it all! Replacing food with faddy, expensive replacements and being hungry may lose you weight in the short term but it is not sustainable. You need to change the way you eat and exercise permanantly. Sounds drastic, but if you follow the advice on this website nhs.uk/LiveWell/weight-loss..., of which this forum is part, it is relatively painless and permanent. lots of advice on the site. Good luck.

I took a look at what was in the meal replacements. There is hardly any identifiable food in them. No wonder you're hungry. Instead of eating processed bulking agents with a few vitamins, why not try banning processed food? If it's fresh veggies, meat, fish, dairy, then it's on the menu. If it's been tampered with in anyway (which almost certainly means someone added sugar to it) avoid it like the plague. I've lost three stone since October doing that.

Please stop this diet if you can and as quickly as you can... side effects are really not worth it... and i agree with the comments on here already that it is not sustainable... our bodies have not been made for eating meal replacements that have been created in labs... ditch all the fatty food instead eat more fruit and veg and start walking... i can also highly recommend juicing to you ( but not the juice program) just to buy a juicer and make your own juice couple of times a week ( i drink 750ml of it instead of breakfast couple of days a week)!!! i have started NHS 12 weeks programme 5 weeks ago and i can see incredible results not only in the weight loss but also i the way i feel and look!!! i have not once though felt like i am starving so that is the best of the advantages of it... it does not promise you some miracles and its not a diet but rather a change of the lifestyle!!! it is easy , the rule is if you dont know the ingredient or dont know what its made of... simply dont eat it!!! i also heard that you are at risk of dying if you consume alcohol on this Cambridge diet...that really should be a convincing argument for you not to put your body through this. The amount of money you pay for these meal replacements can buy you nutritionist advise and plan and amazing amount of fruit and veg and nice healthy food to keep you going!!! All the best with your goal!!! x
