Last week I weighed 14 stone 5.4 pounds, and this morning I weigh 14 stone 2.4 pounds, so I am pleased to report that I've lost 3 pounds this week! I am very happy!!! I still haven't been back to the gym, but I have managed to do a walk most days, and I've been careful not to overeat - and wherever possible I've eaten healthy foods.
My goal for this week is to lose between 1 to 2 pounds, because I suspect it will be harder to lose anything after losing 3 pounds in one go. To be honest, any weight-loss will make me happy, as it will be in the right direction. I also hope to have visited the gym at least once next week.

1st time in two months I have watched my calories, I need to get back into my weight loss journey,
I done 20 minutes dance once this past week, kept to the 1400 cal daily. Did binge on carrot sticks and had a few chocolate biscuits in the middle off the night.
I am very happy with my 5lb loss for the 1st week, my Christmas binge gain has gone. sure it will slow down now to 1/2lb a week. I have 4 more pounds to loss to be back where I was last year. I hope to lose that with in the next two weeks.

Congratulations on your really good weight loss for this week. That's amazing. Losing your Christmas binge gain is satisfying! I laughed when you commented that you'd 'binged on carrot sticks' in the middle of the night though - carrot sticks seem an unlikely binge food!
The carrot sticks was a day thing, when you don't need food but your mind tells you you need to eat, it was a day when I wanted to eat and eat. I kept to the healthy foods. I Should of made my post clearer, the biscuits was in the middle of the night.
Well done Lowcal excellent result! Today I am 10.11 exactly. did my longest run so far 10 miles on Sunday so half marathon prep going well. Have got 2 meals out this week so I would like to maintain. have a good week everyone!

I gained about 1-2kg over the holidays, but have got back at the calorie counting this week. My weight this morning was 64.4kg. Still a bit higher than before the holidays but I'm sure that will shift in the next couple of weeks.
I started the week well despite having a virus that meant I didn't want to walk, have just got back from a few days away when healthy eating was not a priority. I had a high calorie coffee based ice drink with cream today from a well known brand and found it far too sweet, so that's progress.
My clothes are tighter and I am breathing more heavily (although virus won't be helping). I am not going to weigh myself until next week and concentrate on getting back on track. I do seem to be in a cycle of eating too much, losing most of the gain quickly, then eating too much.
Weigh in Bispers if you are anything like me not weighing is denial I remember when I came back from a girls weekend with 4 extra pounds and not the ones you put in your purse either!

Plus 7lbs. Thinking about it, my unthinking eating started Wednesday not Saturday so was longer than I thought.
Still a way to go to get sorted, I know what I be doing, I just need to do it for around 95% of the time not either 100% or 0%. I'll allow my 5% for when life gets in the way.
