So this week has been very positive, I have stuck to a healthy diet - well i had a curry last night BUT it was tomato based and I only ate half : ) last week I would have scoffed the lot!!
I haven't seen much movement on the scales but I'm not going to let that bother me, I will weigh myself tomorrow and hope to see a couple of pounds off.
Next week my aim is to do some exercise every day, I only managed about 3 times this week.
Also I have a friend who has decided he needs to lose some weight so we are keeping each other motivated.
It finally dawned on me the miracle cure I was waiting for is not coming !!!! and that I have to change, I know i know obvious but i lost sight of that for a while.
I hope everyone is well xx

Sounds like you have had a good week. Keep it up. 'I only managed about 3 times this week' re exercise - LOL, I wonder how much you were doing before you started all the healthy eating - and, at least you managed 3 times. Be proud!
If you ever find the miracle cure please let me know - meanwhile, I'll keep up with my walking and health eating.
Hi - you are so right, there really is no miracle cure! It is all about making those changes, albeit in small steps, if that's all we can manage. Exercise, water, healthy snacks....proteins are also important. I have been taking a protein shake (soy and wheat) for about 2 months now, and I have not felt this good for a very long time! I have set up a healthy eating plan around it, and I know that through the shake I am getting all the nutrients that I need. The soy and wheat combined help to burn fat and even to build lean muscle when exercising. It has really worked for me, so I can really recommend it - entirely your choice of course, and what suits you the best. (Actually getting the shakes for free as well, which helps! If you are interested, I can put you in the right direction for more info
