Hi Guys/Girls, I'm new to all this. I have decided I wanted to start getting into shape again as i have let myself go. I am only 5ft and weigh almost 10 stone although I am going into boots tomorrow to get an accurate weight for myself before i start this. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me, whether it be exercise tips or healthy eating tips. I am only 24 and seriously desperate now. My main areas are my stomach and thighs. i have a big bum but that i must say i am proud of anyways any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
xx

Fast walking or light jogging for 20-30 minutes 3 days a week is perhaps a minimum exercise level. Take maybe 300 calories a day off what you eat now, ideally 300 calories of the things your least proud of eating.
There is no doubt about the health benefit of physical activity. The problem is usually it is hard to stick to a sport program when it is absolutely not our habit. My option is to reduce calorie intake. There are awesome Android/Apple applications allowing to track what we eat and to stay below a food threshold. Do not cut too many calories down a day, it is not easy and not healthy to stay under a drastic food reduction. Do not cut any types of aliments from your diet to avoid health issues. Simply replace obvious junk food, track the calories and do not forget to reward yourself with a small treat once in a while - this will allow you to not feel under a constant restraint... Good luck.
food wise the best thing you can do for yourself and your body is to eat real food - nothing processed, everything cooked from scratch. You'll be amazed what great food you can make, how much you can eat and how it will help the weight melt away. good luck!
Check out the blood group diet, it will tell you what foods are toxic to your body and what foods are medicine to your body and what foods are normal to eat.
I found out that people that are blood group O are wheat and dairy intolerant.
I read through the lists to find out what I shouldn't be eating and what I should be having instead and felt better by the end of the first week, and started to loose weight without really trying or exercising as I have mobility problems.
Hope it helps, just type in blood group diet it'll take you to it.
I find the best exersise is to find something you enjoy doing. I tried running, going to the gym and having a personal trainer but i just didn't find myself enjoying it. I finally found salsa and zumba classes which are huge amounts of fun. If you find something you enjoy you are more likely to continue doing it and give it all you've got which means losing extra weight.

Hi stevenson126! First of all, I would say, every day imagine yourself looking and feeling the way you want to look and feel. Dont let go of this image, hold on to it! Our thoughts are very powerful - so please try to think in a positive and loving way about yourself. Secondly - make exercise part of your daily routine - dont just do it whenever you get some spare time - make it priority! Even if you start out with 15 minutes a day, and build up slowly. Main thing is, your body needs to move! I think this plan is really good - I use calorie counting combined with a daily protein shake and exercise. I have set a time-specific target, and I believe this really helps in keeping me focussed. My body feels balanced and happy for the first time in many years. You can do this! Happy to tell you more about what I do.
