Symtom Query Newly Diagnose

Hi,

I've only been diagnosed a week or so and I just want to check a couple of symptoms with others.

Bloating stomach when doing anything from walking to sitting in office chair, can see there's actual size increase. With a feeling of fullness and nausea. Sometimes I feel so rough after working in office I have to go to bed - I also have fibromyalgia and Intercostal Neuralgia (rib pain) and I'm awaiting biopsy results from the tests that found the PCOS.

Overheating is another, I thought I was going through menopause with hot flushes but hormones are ok so its not that. Sometimes I'm melting while others around me are freezing, it's so embarrassing I'm choosing not to socialise.

Hey,

Symptoms vary from person to person. However, I can say the what you’re experiencing is definitely what most (including myself) go through.

It’s extremely tough, more so when you explain it to others and they look at you as if you’re complaining about nothing.

Have you been given methods of managing your symptoms?

J

Thank you for your reply. I'm still waiting on further tests so haven't yet discussed pcos symptoms with my gp. I just got the diagnosis from the consultant & sent on my way with the pill to take
