I'm new here,
I have been diagnosed with PCOS when I was 19 and since then I have been taking the pill for 5 years, YAZ for one year then I carried on with Yasmine until September when I decided voluntarily to quit. Since September however, I had just one period in January. Only recently I found out this community and many online videos where women can share their symptoms and I was amazed to see how much the other's situation is similar to mine.
As I understood the diet can be the key for healing and have a hopefully normal period. Although I'm not overweight, I tend to exercise quite a lot and be careful with the food as I very easily gain weight. I also turn to a plant-based diet in January as I find it quite helpful for the Irritable Colon Syndrome which I also have and I don't know if it is connected with PCOS.
Please do you have any tips, proper diet to follow, any special food to suggest, creams, herbal tea, website or video...?
