Hi, I have recently started on the pill about 4 days ago now or so, I have been spotting a little, but only recently noticed today. Is this normal after starting on the pill?

Is this the combined pill? Did you take it on the day of first day of your period ?

It takes about 6 months for it to settle down though and once it settles, if it is the combined pill take 3 months on the trot (so no pill break) as it reduces the pcos symptoms further. As long as you have 4 periods a year its fine.

Yes, and no because I haven't had my period for around 8 months now. I started taking it on Saturday, but I noticed that there was some spotting yesterday, but none today.

If you didnt start it on your period then I wouldnt worry too much - you will potentially get this on and off for a few months till it settles.
