As many of you may know, our new website has been operational since 1st September 2012 (just over four months). We would like to thank all our visitors and hope that you found what you were looking for and found it relatively easily.

We thought you might like to see some geeky stats about the website from 1st September to 12th January. There have been 19,094 first time visitors and 35% have returned on at least one occasion. The most visited pages were, as you would expect, those related to vasculitis and particularly the individual diseases. The top three vasculitis pages being "symptoms", "individual diseases" and "what is vasculitis?" In total 106,403 pages have been viewed. There have been visits from 113 countries. The majority are from the UK, but the USA, Ireland, Canada and Australia are well represented. We have even had visitors from such countries as South Korea and Guatemala.

We are constantly updating the site. Since inceptions we have added Urticarial Vasculitis (989 visitors) and also Vasculitis and the Eyes (395 visitors). The News and the Events is updated on a daily or weekly basis, so there is always something new for you to read about.

Congratulations, Pat on achieving such great visit statistics. Goes to show how much demand their is out there for authoritative information. The repeat visitor statistics are particularly impressive. I know well how hard it is to achieve that sort of stickiness.

Although there is some good vasculitis information out there in internet-land there's also a lot of rubbish and stuff based on information which was probably correct 20 years ago. We have tried to make our information as comprehensive as possible, with something for patients, their family and friends and also for those medical professionals who may know little about vasculitis. Our information is, as you know, up-to-date and our medical information was and is verified by the top doctors in the vasculitis field - so they do know what they are talking about.

We will not sit back and pat ourselves on the back, we will ensure that our site, our information and our charity remains the No. 1 for vasculitis in the UK.
