just sending this out there. Has anybody got any information. I am now over 6 months since my last jab. Our pharmacist has said possibly from April 22nd but only for over 75s but information is sketchy. I see on the NHS website, booking no longer available and walk in centres currently closed so if anybody knows anything please shout. Nick.

Can you copy the text here please? Only members of that forum can read it via the link you've given. Thanks.

You should be able read it but not reply even if you aren’t a member.-or you can join and then unjoin..

No I can't read it. And it would be good if all here who want to read your advice don't have to join and then potentially unjoin too :)

Try this -

Please see attached Information on the spring 2024 campaign for eligible individuals, and note it applies to England only. Those in other parts of UK with devolved governments please check with your local health authority.

Spring 2024 booster eligibility

COVID-19 is more serious in older people and in people with certain underlying health conditions. For these reasons, people aged 75 years and over, those in care homes, and those aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system are being offered a spring dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

This is what I see when I try to follow your link. And will apply to other folks who're not members of the PMRGCAUK group too.

Warning note saying you need to be a member of this community to see this post.

That’s odd - I can view posts on other forums I’m not a member of -but if I want to reply I have to join…

..and I very often link posts -no one has said they can’t tread them before.

I noticed it on another recent post of yours just now. It may be specific to these posts, and if they've defaulted to just viewable on that forum. Or HealthUnlocked might just be being stupid! Thanks for sharing the extra info :)

HU being stupid! more than likely -but I will check with the moderators on the PMRGCAuk forum to see if they have restrictions to access - but don’t see why.

I’ll check with HU -we often have conversations 🙄 🤣😂

Thanks for everything again DorsetLady. The Pharmacist has said on line bookings will be open on the 15th April for appointments on or after the 22nd April. I thought I was done with Rituximab but my specialist want me to have another year at it. No issues with that, but It’s due second week in May so I need to get a move on. Nick.

Here is the information from NHS England:

gov.uk/government/publicati...

And for people like me in Scotland:

nhsinform.scot/springvaccine

In Scotland appointments are arranged for us or we are contacted individually and invited to book. I haven't got my appointment set up yet, but expect NHS Scotland to book me in sometime in the next week or so. Most likely for in May, given my 8th Covid vaccine was in November.

I had my invitation issued by email from NHS Scotland last week - but it’s not until 20th May. I have major surgery coming up then so glad I get it before the surgery.

Pulling out the info for folks in Northern Ireland:

nidirect.gov.uk/articles/ge...

(vaccines available from 15th April)

and Wales too:

phw.nhs.wales/topics/immuni...

So I think that's us covered with the up to date info for the 4 main parts of the UK :)

I too am over 6 months since my last jab, but am over 75 and haven't heard anything yet (in England btw). I'll let you all know when I hear anything.

I've just received my invitation, saying that it's because I am over 75. There were several choices of venue to book, with one very convenient for me, plus several walk-in sites as well. All booked up for next week. Good luck everyone!

Email received today asking me to book mine. Lots of local chemist shops giving it. Easy to book. I'm 60 and immune suppressed.

Yep nothing from Surgery, but that’s par at ours but booked in via NHS app. Next week so will get in in prior to my Rituximab in May. Thanks everybody.

Mine was the NHS communication. It never is our surgery direct for covid, although they're very hot on the Flu jabs.
