How high is high phosphorous??
I was taking
Tums
1500mg to help, but it bound me up so bad I cut to 750. Here's the joke folks....my adequacy or Kt/v is 3.2.....I still pee. A LOT I know that 5.5 is considered high phosphorous for dialysis. Is anyone else high and what do you do. Do you use a binder and how's that going?

Pepto Bismol, Emetrol, and
Tums
do not help. I have ginger and peppermint candies but I can only eat so many of them before they start to make me feel icky again.

Stomach upset after treatment
I have been taking
Tums
and Pecid AC, but although I have days that are better it seems to keep coming back. In January 2022 I had my gall bladder out. I wonder if that is part of it? I made an appt with Gastroenterology but it's not til next week.

Tuff Nutt gets his butt kicked, has tuff day, almost ready for happy pill
Honey, where’s the
Tums
? Must have had a Lupron moment as we couldn’t find them in the cabinet, ready to go to ER it hurt so bad. Oh gosh, this kind of pain I could not wish on my worst enemy. Finally found them , an hour later it subsided.

New papers on PA
There are often new interesting papers on pernicious anemia. I will add them to this thread to keep them all in one place. I'll try to the pick the ones I think are most novel & relevant, but plenty are published every month. To see more, check Google Scholar https://scholar.google.com/scholar?start=

A new approach for treatment of subthreshold bipolar disorders: Targeted high dose levothyroxine+repetitive TMS for mitochondrial treatment
A very interesting paper. Difficult to grab any individual bits for discussion or introduction. The whole paper isn't very long. Even if bipolar disorders are not themselves of much direct interest, it might be worth a quick read because it discusses the control group as well and their ability to tolerate

LENS Neurofeedback Low Energy Neurofeedback System update.
I have had agoraphobia for the past 4 1/2 years. What has helped me may not be available in your area. It is called LENS Neurofeedback. LENS stands for Low Energy Neurofeedback System. It is different from traditional Neurofeedback in that it introduces a low current into your brain rather than just

Unhelpful Ketamine and TMS
I haven't been able to work full-time in over two years. Dark days. Sleepless nights. Brain fog and cognitive impairment. This past summer I did a full course of transcranial magnetic stimulation, something like 36 sessions. No benefit. I am now almost finished with a full treatment cycle of Spravato

Has anyone tried transcranial magnetic stimulation for depression or ADHD?
I've tried a lot of medications, therapy, behavioral coaching, etc. with limited success. I'm looking into transcranial magnetic stimulation and wondering if anyone here has tried it and if you find it helps your depression or ADHD symptoms.

Depression and successful treatment
I'd like to share something that others may be able to relate to. After suffering for many years with different ailments in addition to, or probably related to PA, one thing that many may suffer from is depression. I was given all the usual psychotropic medications with little positive effect. Then
