I was advised to retest following results in January. Also had an episode of pounding heart. GP prescribed Propranolol, which I didn’t need to take in the end as the symptoms ceased, along with some stress.
Test completed following the advised protocols.
Supplements are Cit D/K2 spray
Vit B Complex
Magnesium Glycinate
Probiotic.
Medichecks doc drew attention to high CRP at 3.21 in January it was 2.07. Suggests I retest in 6-8 weeks.
So,
Ferritin -176 ( range 30-332)
Folate - couldn’t be tested
Vit B 12 - 133 ( range > 37.5)
Vit D - 89 ( range 50-100)
TSH - 0.529 ( range 0.27-4.2)
Free T3 - 5.1. ( range 3.1-6.8). An increase since Jan, 4.9.
Free T4 - 19 ( range 12-22) A decrease since Jan, 20.3.
Antibodies continue to fall,
I’m concerned about rise in CPR, always in range but I was very stressed! Medichecks doc referred to cardiac health? I thought it was an inflammatory marker and I do have osteoarthritis.
Thanks in advance.

What was the range for CRP? I think Medichecks is ‘under 3’ This reading can fluctuate if you have had even a mild infection such as a cold/ cough etc. And yes, stress can cause it to be elevated! Include anti inflammatories (such as turmeric) and try to avoid any processed foods to lower CRP.
Yes, range was up to 3. The stressful event was resolved and the strongly pounding heart also. Strange really! I wouldn’t wish it on anyone though I didn’t feel it was a heart attack.
Mine runs at about 8 on every test. GP tells me he’s only concerned when it’s over 20. As Buddy says stress is a cause.
I did get a 63 result last year when I had Pancreatitis.
For an accurate result for cardiac health you really need a hs-CRP. CRP is really an acute phase inflammatory marker which can flag up anything from bacterial infection to malignancy.
I don’t think you need to retest but that’s your decision of course.
