No thyroxine that morning split t3 into three doses but took last t3 too early instead of 12 hours it was 14 don’t know what difference that will make.
Still feeling very lethargic can’t walk very far joints hurt so much my back feels worse just not a lot of energy.
I think I did tell you last time dr wrote and told me she was dropping my thyroxine by 25 ,feel I have put more weight on,
Wondered if I could add another small amount of t3 to see if it helps
Thank you to you all for your support and help

FT3 isnt terrible and would be a little higher if test a few hrs earlier.
FT4 far too low so look at adding more Levo next. I see it was reduced and I wonder why your Endo did this? If they are treating just your TSH you may need to find a different Endo.
Ferritin is almost deficient. Have you had an iron panel run? If not then do that to make sure you have room for a supplement.
thankyou for replying to me I’ve made a boob boob ferritin 173 I’ve put a dot in sorry , I haven’t got an endocrinologist it was my doctor who wrote and told me she was putting it down as she realised I was taking my own t3 ,
Then you need to stand up for yourself and advocate for more Levo. This can be difficult without a prescriber. You coud try using the NICE guidelines and accepting the risk for low TSH.
The first paragraph in the NICE (NHS) Thyroid Disease, Assessment and Management guidelines says :
nice.org.uk/guidance/ng145
"Your responsibility”
The recommendations in this guideline represent the view of NICE, arrived at after careful consideration of the evidence available. When exercising their judgement, professionals and practitioners are expected to take this guideline fully into account, alongside the individual needs, preferences and values of their patients or the people using their service. It is not mandatory to apply the recommendations, and the guideline does not override the responsibility to make decisions appropriate to the circumstances of the individual, in consultation with them and their families and carers or guardian. “
Thankyou I did send them some paperwork about it but nobody acknowledged it nobody got in touch with me so I think I’m probably going to upset them and buy my own like I do with t3 , they just don’t seem to listen, when she said we don’t take any notice of t3 ,I said to her well I think if you had a thyroid problem you would then thanks so much , hope your keeping well , hope to speak again sometime
It can be useful to have an NHS prescription, especially if you are ever admitted to hospital. Its worth hanging on to that if you can and working with your GP where possible.
Like GlowCoach , I would look to add more Levo - I like to do this super slowly, adding 12.5mcg initially (and a further 12.5mcg if needed at a later stage). If GP doesn’t understand that your TSH is suppressed because you are on combination treatment, you may need to try and find one more enlightened!
Thankyou I think it’s the whole of that drs as in the letter she said she’d had a meeting and they decided to take 25 off . I’ve been waiting because I thought they would get in touch again as my tsh didn’t change as they told me to have another blood test after the 6 weeks , so I wouldn’t know who to see I’ve never seen the same one twice maybe once but thankyou
Hello slow dragon , I’ve made a boob it shouldn’t have the dot in it , it should be 173 my mistake it’s a wonder there aren’t more sorry about that , and thanks
