hi there

Could you add the ranges from the lab who did your most recent test, difficult to comment as they differ a fair bit.

What dose is a tablet and half of your T3?

How are your symptoms? Do you feel well?

Thybon is 30mcg altogether (tablet and half)

Free T4 (fT4) 16.92 pmol/L (11.9 - 21.6) 51.8%

Free T3 (fT3) 4.59 pmol/L (2.25 - 5.63) 69.2%

You probably have room to increase levothyroxine to 100mcg daily

Many members on levothyroxine plus T3 find they need BOTH ft4 and Ft3 at least 60-70% through range

You may need to reduce T3 a little ….Perhaps by 5mcg AFTER next test if Ft3 goes too high

Ferritin is deficient

You need full iron panel test for anaemia

No vitamin D, folate or B12 results

What vitamin supplements are you taking

High thyroid antibodies confirms autoimmune hashimoto’s

Are you on gluten free and/or dairy free diet

Ok thank you for your reply, I’ve had 2 iron infusions before Christmas in December my ferritin was 63 and iron 7 so I continued iron supplements but it the iron has increased to 30 and my ferritin went to 27 so I’m continuing iron supplements. Yes I’m trying gluten free and reduced dairy in diet. My b12 is 800 and vitamin d 103. I’m taking multivitamins

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test

Is this how you did your test

I feel okay on it, I do seem to get weird dreams but not every nite. I have bit more energy since starting Thybon and low dose naltrexone and feel that I’m not as dopey and tired. Although I did have a salivary cortisol test and it shows low cortisol levels and I’ve commenced adrenal cortex in last two weeks so hopefully all works out.
