Kittyblu your TSH is way too high for someone taking levothyroxine. You need a dose increase or probably Liothyronine in addition to levo as you look to be a poor convertor of T4 to T3 which is low. How are your vitamin levels? Likely to be low with such high TPO. Are you gluten free, it can often help, did for me, even though not tested positive for coeliac.

Hi there thank you for your reply, last I spoke to gp about results which was fairly recently, she’s very reluctant to increase, as when I’ve had previous results a few weeks into increase I start feel very unwell obviously Tsh drops but t4 always high and I suffer dreadfully, will get on line and make a note of them, b12 was last done march 24 and was 323nh/l range 180.0-914.0, vitamin d was September 24 and was 66nmol/L, September 24 ferritin was 35ug/l range 11.0-307.0 can’t see folate but I’m certain it was around 7? Will track back and find it, having problems with eyes too very gritty and sore, getting them checked Thursday

First of all ‘welcome’ as I think this is your first post Kittyblu 🦋

Are you experiencing any adverse symptoms at the moment?

How long have you been taking 75mcg thyroid medication?

TSH should always be below 2, with most members here reporting they feel best when this is closer to/ under 1.

If you are experiencing adverse symptoms, I would certainly ask for an increase in Levothyroxine. I like to make low and slow adjustments, so would try 87.5mcg as a first step- I find a pill cutter useful for this task.

Can you please share the results you have for folate, ferritin, B12 and vit D (with ranges- as these can vary between laboratories)

Keep posting and asking questions- we are here to help and support

Thank you and hello, hope your doing ok, not been great, feel physically worn out, headache dry gritty eyes just generally far from my best, over last four years my results been all over the place, vitamins are pretty low I think, have access to then now on line so have latest ones and even more shocked when I’ve look back, latest ones I have are. B12 march 24 323 nh/L range 180.0-914.0, vitamin d was 66nml/L, September 24 ferritin was 35 ugl/L range 11.0-307.0, folate around 7 but will need to check range, but too low! Had tpo tester July 24 and was 786ku/ range O.0-58.0, in may of last year was taking 75 levo Monday to Friday 100 Friday and Saturday, had appointment at private hospital to have total hip replacement but felt so unwell, and had too high t4 they wouldn’t go ahead, I’ll get figures from letter and let you no as they aren’t on system, they also noticed swelling on left side of thyroid so they wanted scan too! Was feeling pretty unwell so gp dropped levo back to 75 and I eventually had my scan about 3 month later! I will fill my story in with as much info as I can, started it today almost finished , got distracted with somthing and when I went back to it I’d lost the lot, didn’t have the heart to start again, will try tomorrow, hope you can make some sense of this and thank you so much for replying ,,, sorry just found scan from august 24 5mm mixed echoigenic nodule, but seems to be of no concern to gp or Endo .
