I’ve been having bad headaches for the past 2 weeks my latest results are

t4 10.1 (12-22)

T3 5.1 (3.8-6.8)

I take 2 grains of NDT a day in split doses. I did try raising awhile back to 21/4 grains but it gave me afib. My endo has advised me to take 21/4 on alternate days. I’ve heard you should not do this any ideas please would be mist grateful.

you must always take exactly same dose NDT every day

You could try adding some Levo …..initially at 25mcg daily

This would improve low Ft4

What are your vitamin levels like

Hi,

I don't know much about NDT as I am only on Levothyroxine, however, I had a headache from the back of my neck up to the top of my head continuously from diagnosis until I was finally put on the correct level of levo, about 12-18 months. It went after a couple of weeks on the right dose and has never returned.

Not what you're looking for?
