Latest test results. Advice welcome

I am seeing my endocrinologist soon to discuss my continuing tiredness.

My latest test results areFT4 17.3 (9 - 23)

FT3 5.1 (2.4 - 6.0)

TSH <0.01mU/L By the way, the lab now states that this is 'Satisfactory'.

I take Thybon Henning in 2 x 10 doses and 125mcg Eltroxin

My vitamin tests results were all fine.

Could an increase in thyroxine help? Would I then need to take less liothyronine?

Many thanks for any advice.

was test done as recommended

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test

Free T4 (fT4) 17.3 pmol/L (9 - 23) 59.3%

Free T3 (fT3) 5.1 pmol/L (2.4 - 6) 75.0%

What vitamin supplements do you take

Please add actual results and ranges

Is your hypothyroidism autoimmune

Are you gluten free/dairy free

SlowDragon, my apologies for not resubmitting my results as promised. I am quite lethargic and am not getting things done. My GP has agreed to a full testing mid August so shall post both lots of results then. Thank you for your help. My appointment is for 8:50am, the earliest I could get. I will be fasting and will adhere to the recommended schedule for medication. Many thanks.

What is it that you would be trying to improve by increasing thyroid meds?

Three things - my sleep, my energy levels (I get tired during the day) and my mood.

I am not necessarily trying to increase my meds - I am just wondering if there could be a better balance e.g. less T3, more T4

Thanks for asking.
