Hi all
I haven't posted in a very long time. I would greatly appreciate some help with my latest results which I had a nurse draw for me as my Thriva results kept saying 'not enough blood' ...so I wasn't getting full results. So this time I feel I got a complete picture. Image shows all results and ranges. Hope you can see it...
Time: 9am on 31 May 2024
Meds: 100 mg Levo (ALMUS) and 50mg Levo (Accord) .
I didn't take meds for 24 hours before drawing blood. I take my meds in the evening. I think the brands I now use are different to the ones I initially started on.
I have been on 150 mg of levo since March 2024 when NHS did an annual blood test. Previously I was on 100.
I also take Better You spray Vit D - 4000 IU (once per day in the morning) and Better You spray Iron 5mg (once per day in the morning) . I take these back to back.
Results: Thriva
Other: As an aside...last year around August I started vomiting excessively when eating various foods, coupled with intense abdominal cramping and sweating. I noticed that I was reacting to acidic foods such as citrus juices, papaya and apple cider vinegar. I have since cut these out and keep an eye on acidic foods.
NHS did pick up an issue with my liver in March and I did have a abdominal scan on 19 April 2024. I am seeing the doctor only on 14 June to discuss the results face to face. I am told it isn't serious, hence the delay in getting the feedback.
Is there a correlation between liver issues and thyroid at all?
Thank you for your help.
