hope you can read it!

I am on 75mcg of Levo (6 weeks now on that dose) previous TSH 6 weeks ago 3.96

* I have been taking B12 supplements for 4 weeks one per day (Igennus Super B-Complex)

* started taking spray Vit D one squirt of 3000 IU 75ug one week ago.

* Take selenium once a day

* Magnesium once a day at night.

Also gone almost gluten free for about 3 weeks. I say almost as i keep making stupid mistakes, so cant say i've been 100% GF!

This was done privately through Thriva, their doctors notes say everything is fine and just to take Vit D Supplements.

I am going to see my GP next week, what are your your thoughts, am i converting ok? I am definitely starting to feel much better, but still get tired easily and still constipated! I also have this strangling feeling, but that and my voice is so much better since going GF? As soon as i eat gluten i can feel the difference in my throat and my voice goes hoarse again, From today i am trying very very hard to be completely GF!

My results don't seem to have changed much in 6 weeks, antibodies exactly the same, despite the Gluten free thing?

It takes months for antibodies to slowly drop....and it does need to be strictly gluten free too

But it's good to hear you are noticing a difference being gluten free

Watch out for cross contamination, don't share butter, jam, use separate toaster for GF bread (or get a toaster bag from Coeliac Uk or Amazon)

Your TSH is still too high at 3.03

You will need dose increase....but wether GP will agree yet ....perhaps see if you can get increase to 75mcg/100mcg on alternate days ...

FT4 is 60% through range

FT3 only 27% through range

It might be better to get vitamin D up higher and concentrate on GF diet

Thank you x I didn’t realise the gluten thing had to be that strict! I shall be 100 on it and ask for a increase, she’s pretty good so should be ok. Shall I just carry on with the one squirt of vit D?

Yes gluten free does need to be as if coeliac.....I got well told off by NHS dietitian for using a "only GF side" of a shared toaster....so we now have two toasters....separate butter etc

You could double vitamin D spray for month or 6 weeks, then go back to single spray

Yes thriva, like Medichecks, is Active B12.

Blue Horizon test serum B12.

One more thing - sorry. When I had my last test done my b12 as 412 now it’s only 112? It that just because it’s different labs ? X

Sorry me again 😬 my T3 one, what should that be ideally? See you say it’s only 27% through range! Will that improve with my next increase do you think?!

Thank you x

Most people seem to need FT3 at least half way through range as minimum

As FT4 rises, FT3 should increase too

Getting vitamins optimal can help improve conversion of FT4 to FT3 as well
