I’m feeling particularly tired and dizzy behind the eyes.
My thyroid bloods are normal for me (lower tsh as on thyroxine (150mcg AND t3 (25mg) and metformin)
I wondered if I was anaemic as I’m exhausted, dizzy behind the eyes waking up in the night gasping for breath (only for a few seconds) and just having frequent wakings despite being shattered ALL the time.
I asked for B12 to be tested but the didn't do it but I’m going to have a B12 injection this week anyway as it’s always low despite me supplementing .
The Ferritin seems to be ok, but MCHC has come back high, just above range. I know this is a type of Anaemia and can be auto immune (I had graves before total thyroidectomy. )
I would be grateful if anyone has any advice on MCHC levels if there is anything I need to do ?
Thanks so much in advance :
MCHC - 347 ranges -( 315-345 ) g/L
Ferritin - 84 ranges ( 13-150 ) ng/mL
25 OH-VIT D (D2 +D3) - 56
- Ranges- 25-50 Insufficient
> 200 Suggest reduce dose of Vit D
ENDOCRINE (Blood)
TSH < 0.01 VL ( 0.27-4.20 ) mU/L
Free T4 18.0 ( 12.0-22.0 ) pmol/L

I’d be interested in any replies you have to this, my husbands MCHC is always raised and the GPS never seem bothered to get to the bottom of his symptoms! He also gets dizzy, out of breath and very fatigued on and off for the last few years now.
However your Vit D is quite low and you would benefit from supplementing. Vitamin D should be around 100 - 150. Buy one that includes vit K2 to help it go to your bones. Some are available in oil or you can take it with an oily meal for better absorption. Many members like the ‘Better You’ range of mouth sprays that contain both bit D & K2. Use this calculator to work out how much to take to get your level to 100-150. wildatlantichealth.com/vita...
You may find that the B12 injections will help your symptoms if you have them frequently enough.
Without an FT3 we can't really comment on your thyroid results.
You also need folate tested.
Iron can be low when ferritin is OK. You could aks for a full iron panel.
What are you supplementing with?
