Extreme water retention

On thyroxine 125mcg taking 112mcg and t3 30 and 35 4 days

24 hours after t4 and 12 exactly for t3

TSH less 0.01

T4 19.2 (12 to 22)

T3 5 (4.1 to 6.8)

B12 1279 ( told to stop b12 )

Folate <20

Ferritin 60

Vitamin D was 90 last time they refused to test

I am 50kg

Peeing loads exhausted paralysed and stomach not working

Liver enzymes very high alp 185 (max 104 ) no liver cirrhosis ultrasound good

before I started t3

My t4 was 20 on 100mcg and tsh 0.02 ! But t3 was 2.1!!

Could it be possible all the t4 just going to reverse t3 and t3 to t2

Muscle mass has gone down and I’m a shell

Liver enzymes are bone related so must thyroid on over drive

I did have very high mercury and arsenic levels

I stopped fish - awaiting new mercury results ( appointment with toxicology said no chelation) trying to detox myself let’s see results it was 128.8 (0 to 25) and arsenic higher

No idea how I can be detoxing effectively with liver not happy

Struggling so much

That seem a lot of medication for me

When I was on 50mcg t4 my tsh was 1.9 and t4 13 t3 2.1

Then increased the thyroxine but t3 didn’t move up it went up a little and back down to 2.1

huge fat gain for me

Chou Chou am I right in thinking you take 30mcg t3 some days and 35mcg t3 other days?

Yes I tried that for 5 weeks not sure that’s a good idea .

No it's not a good idea. The body likes the same dose of t3 everyday. This is because of the way it uses the t3.

Ok . Ouch . I just feel desperate tired all the time and zero stomach motility so I am back in bed so much . I will stick to 30 . I’m wasting my life in bed. But I can’t eat properly due to stomach motility is zero.

Will this improve with higher t3 ?

Chou Chou sorry I can't answer your questions as I only know things I've had and tried myself.I can say that it took me 2 years to find doses of levo and t3 that I thought felt right for me. I was still mostly housebound but began to be able to start going out again at this stage. 2 and a half years after this, I still can't do all I want but I can go out and lead a life. So it can take a very long time to recover and the improvements can be very gradual.
