Currently 75mcg of tirsosint and 1 grain of Armour. Synthetics seperate meds do not work for me I had just came off of t4 and t3 separate meds after a year of feeling like I was going to die (no matter what adjustments etc). I do feel much better on this combo but still have all the hypo symptoms. GF and dairy free. Didn’t have vitamins checked this time but I am supplementing and will test next time.

I am a bit unsure what to do as tsh is really low. If I increase armour I get hypo due to cortisol and iron issues. Do you think if I go from 75mcg to 100mcg of t4 tirosint this may lift my t4 up more?

just to add my armour is going out of date this month and tirosint went out of date last month. Not sure if this makes a difference too much?

Would appreciate any help as I tend to self dose and source meds of a pharmacist who signs them off. Thank you!

Just spotted your post. Sorry you didn't get a response sooner.

Free T4 (fT4) 15.2 pmol/L (12 - 22) 32.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 5.4 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 62.2%

When we are taking anything that contains T3 we should forget about TSH. It is no longer relevant as T3 is an active hormone and the pituitary no longer needs to call for more hormone. Almost any amount of T3 will reduce TSH to a low level if not suppressed.

Did you do the test as per the protocol recommended here? Test at 9am, fasting, last levo dose 24hrs before the blood draw (if you’re taking Levo), last T3 dose 8-12 hours before blood draw & no biotin containing supplements for 3-7 days (Biotin can interfere with thyroid blood results as it is used in the testing process)?

I would think that adding 25mcgs as you suggest would be the way to go.

People have posted before about using out of date levo/NDT. Generally it doesn't seem to matter but monitor symptoms and check bloods if there are any issues and you can adjust dose accordingly.
