My Dad’s VIT D results have come back adequate at 56.6 nmol/L range (50.1 - 220nmol/L)
My Dad has now been given Adcal D-3 to take which has 400 I.U. or 10 micrograms colecalciferol (vitamin D3) in it. He takes steroids and will be on them for a very long time which is way he has Ad-Cal. There is no K2 in these tablets.
I have got him some Nature Provides VitD and K2 but I need help to know how many drops he should take. I have some info that I was kindly given on here about D3 but I struggle to work out the correct dosages.
Thank you

you'll see that the Vit D Council suggests the dose needed to reach the recommended level from this level is
3,700iu
Natures Provides D3 liquid has 600iu per 1 drop
6 drops will give 3,600iu then there is the 400iu in the Adcal, this should be sufficient.
Retest in 3 months, dose may need adjusting.
Don't forget that magnesium is also needed as it helps the body convert D3 into it's usable form. Information about different forms of magnesium were in the previous reply.
