Hi there, I am new here and generally useless with any form of technology! I am looking to hear of any feedback regarding those taking T3 as well as T4. I have recently been prescribed liothronine alongside Levothyroxine. I’m also anaemic, was low on b12 but ok now. Have low white blood cells and also red. Also very low neutrophil levels. Leaky gut … this liar kind of goes on. I would be so grateful for any feedback or advice.

welcome to the forum

How long have you been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s

What dose levothyroxine were you taking BEFORE adding T3

Can you add most recent thyroid and vitamin results

For good conversion of Ft4 (levothyroxine) to Ft3 (active hormone) we must have GOOD vitamin levels

Essential to test vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

How low was B12. Are you on daily B12 or injections now

How low was iron/ferritin

Any obvious reason for low iron levels

Pre or post menopause?

Heavy periods?

What’s your diet like

Are you vegetarian or vegan

as you have Hashimoto’s have you had coeliac blood test done

Are you now on Gluten free diet or dairy free diet

How much T3 are you prescribed

Have you started taking yet?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I'm pretty useless with technology too, but people here are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have been adding T3 (self sourced) to my prescribed T4 for about 4 months now. I don't have low b12 , low blood cells nor anaemia but I think I DO have leaky gut as I recently found out I have SIBO.

As your T3 is prescribed, I presume you will be given a blood test after a couple of months, to see if improvements have been achieved by the addition of the lio.
