I could use some advice with my latest results since my last post as now the surgery have messaged me for a dose reduction as they are saying I'm overactive now.
I'm pretty sure i'm not, I don't feel over in the slightest, in fact I feel I could use a touch more T3 but I'm not sure if I should?
Results 8:30am, fasting, 100mcg Levo 24rs before with 6.25mcg T3 - second 6.25mcg dose taken around 11:30pm the night before test as advised.
I must say feel so happy to see my T3 the best it's been and I have only been taking it for a couple of months, pleased to know my T3 isn't sugar pills lol. it's quite empowering to see a difference when taking matters into your own hands.
I have been taking the 2nd T3 around 2pm the past couple weeks with advice from here, and it definitely helps the slump, although I don't feel 100% I do feel better than I did before adjusting the T3 timing, but I defo feel noticeably better than I did on just the Levo.
It wasn't my usual GP that reviewed these results so I am not making an appointment for a dose reduction. I am speaking with my usual Dr in a couple weeks time so I will explain to her my TSH will be supressed with added T3.
I have enough supplies of Levo if I need to drop to 75mcg I don't need to get a prescription.
So I wondering if I did add another 6.25mcg or even half of that will it take me over the edge?
Thanks in advance for any help. 🤗

Based on both sets of results there is no need to reduce your dose of Levo. With your MMH test your FT4 is 70% through range and with your NHS test it is 68% through range (nice to see the two labs have given such close results). Your FT3 is 67.57% through range. So you can see your actual thyroid hormones (the most important being FT3) show that you are not overmedicated. Your GP is only going by the TSH and they seem to have a mental block about that, they don't understand that even though it's useful for diagnosis once on thyroid hormone replacement then it isn't much use as it's not a thyroid hormone, it's a pituitary hormone.
I have a similar situation with my GP and I just refuse to reduce my Levo.
So I wondering if I did add another 6.25mcg or even half of that will it take me over the edge?
Personally I wouldn't, not at this stage. You've been taking T3 for a couple of months. I find if I make a dose change I am still seeing a difference at 10 weeks. Even though I've taken as much as 31.25mcg T3 with my Levo, time and tweaking of doses has led me to know that 12.5mcg is actually what I need.
You might find that you need a little less Levo in time, or a little more T3, but don't rush it, take it very slowly, if you want to tweak just do one thing at a time and give it 2-3 months for levels to settle before deciding what change that tweak has made. Plus, of course, ensure that key nutrients are optimal and stay that way.
I thought as much as I have felt over medicated only when I tried upping Levo to 125mcg before sourcing T3.
I will stay put on the current dosing for now like you say, I guess it is very easy to get excited when you see T3 working & then go and add too much.
I didn't expect to get much of a result at all so I am grateful my percentage's are sitting nicely.
I don't know what kind of situation I will have when I do get the endo appointment, but right now I don't even think It would benefit me seeing them.
Lol you are right they do have a mental block, it even says in red on my results that diagnosis it by TSH out of range, that makes me laugh because I feel absolutely crap if my TSH is even over 1, never mind 5..
Hopefully my usual GP will be fine with ignoring the TSH, I will stand my ground anyway until I feel any different.
Thanks again don't worry I am back to taking my b complex now bloods are done and the other stuff I will keep at it.
I found a handy little app called "did I take my medicine"
It's fab you can add lots of meds and times to it. it reminded me to take my T3 on time today, I will be adding my weekly D3 to it aswel as I forget that one often..
Personally I don’t see benefits of dose changes until 12 weeks, that’s why I increase/ decrease super slowly. Have you tested ferritin, folate, B12 and vitamin D levels recently? Having these optimal suppprts the thyroid.
Yes are are right I didn't really think about the 12 week mark, I will see how I feel in another month I don't feel half as bad so I must remain positive.
Yes vitamins and ferritin are on my last post have improved them in the past year but still working on them. Especially ferritin such a pain for me but I'm taking easy iron every other day then I will move on to spa tone to maintain levels I hope.
