Hello these are my latest blood results my doctor said they are fine. I’m on 75mg 3x a week and 50mg the rest of the week.
I’m feeling very exhausted still I’m taking vit D and magnesium. I was wondering if I should start B12 too I’ve heard this helps with fatigue? I had iron etc all tested and they came back fine. Thank you for any advice
Serum free t4 level 17 pmol/L 9.50 -22.70pmol/L
Serum TSH level O.53. mu/L 0.55 - 4.78 mu/ L
That’s quite a low dose
Was test done early morning, ideally before 9am and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
What are your most recent vitamin results and ranges
Important to test folate, ferritin and B12 at least once a year
Test vitamin D twice a year when supplementing

FT4: 17 pmol/l (Range 9.5 - 22.7)
Ft4 is only 56.82% through range
Request increase in dose levothyroxine to 75mcg every day

Hi TasiaJust to say I too get very tired and wake up feeling dreadful some mornings. Despite having 7-8 hours I am like a zombie crashing into things and yawning my head off. I am on 50 mcg of thyroxine but waiting to see my endocrinologist to increase the dose to something similar to yours. It is really about finding the sweet spot. I have the other symptoms of anxiety, tinnitus, dry gritty eyes but these are managed with eye drops and ointment. Dry skin patches, terrible nails, tennis elbow, you name it I’ve got it.
I hate waking unrefreshed as it sets the day off all wrong. I used to jump out of bed full of the joys of spring ready to face the day. I don’t pretend to know about your readings other than TSH is low. Have you had your B12 checked recently?
