Could I get some help with blood test results please

Hi everyone, sorry not been here for a while , but have been trying to deal with some health issues over the last few years . Have recently taken a blood test through medichecks, and was quite surprised at a couple of the results . My results were :-

CRP HS 2.08mg/L range = 0 - 5mg/L

FERRITIN 75.5ug/L range = 13 - 150ug/L

FOLATE 11.18nmol/L range= >3.89nmol/L

VIT B12 126pmol/L range = 37.5 - 188pmol/L

VIT D 118nmol/L range = 50 - 118nmol/L

TSH 13mu/L range = 0.27 - 4.2mu/L

FT3 2.85pmol/L range = 3.1 - 6.8pmol/L

FT4 11.4pmol/L range = 12 - 12pmol/L

T A 14.4 lu/L range = <115 lu/L

T P A < 9 lu/ml range = < 34 lu/ml

As you can see my TSH , FT3 and FT4 are out of sync, I have not changed my T4 and T3 dosages in nearly 2 years , I am taking 75mcg levothyroxine and 5mcg liothyronine daily, my previous tests dating back to January 2020 were pretty much OK, the results at them times were :-

June 21 June 20 Jan 20

TSH 0.9mu/L 0.013mu/L 0.044mu/L

FT3 3.8pmol/L 5pmol/L 4.61pmol/L

FT4 16.2pmol/L 18.1pmol/L 13.5pmol/L

The ranges are the same as above as all the tests were done by medichecks.

I don't understand why the sudden change in results as , as said earlier my meds have not changed in nearly 2 years , the only changes that have occurred since then are the lumps in my neck ( which I told you all about in previous posts ) have now spread to both sides of neck , my voice is more horse and raspy, and have trouble getting words out at times , fatigue is definitely a lot lot worse but am not able to sleep and my appetite is very hit and miss . A private gp ( which I had to save for to see ) has said the lumps in my neck and a positive A C E blood test result could mean that I have sarcoidosis, but it is very hard to diagnose , so I don't know if that could have any bearing on my latest blood results. Please could someone advise me on what might be going on with my body , as I can't understand these results , and trying to get an appointment with doctor, well , I'd have more chance of finding gold in my back garden , So once again am relying on you guys here for help .

Thank you for taking the time to read this post , hope to hear from you soon , stay safe , take care and Godbless you all 🙏🙂

TSH 13mu/L range = 0.27 - 4.2mu/L

FT3 2.85pmol/L range = 3.1 - 6.8pmol/L

FT4 11.4pmol/L range = 12 - 12pmol/L

Is this TSH really 13 ?

Was test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

How long before test was 5mcg T3?

Ft3 and Ft4 obviously extremely low

Do you always get the same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

And same brand T3 at each prescription

5mcg is a TINY dose T3

Suggest you increase levothyroxine to 100mcg

Retest in 6-8 weeks

Then consider adding 2nd 5mcg dose T3 mid-late afternoon

You may need to add 3rd 5mcg dose T3 after that …..many patients find last dose T3 at bedtime improves sleep….but not everyone does

Retest again after 6-8 weeks …..last 1/2 or 1/3rd daily dose dose T3 should be 8-12 hours before blood test

Hi SlowDragon , yes my tsh really is 13 , don't understand why am needing to increase medication all of a sudden though I know I have to , am really finding it hard to comprehend how results can change so dramatically when there has been no change to medication , time sample taken and time between last dose and blood test , I did everything by the advice that you have given me previously for over 2 years , but will try your recommendation. And yes all medication same brand as been getting now for several years we think , definitely same pharmacy. Thanks once again for your help , Godbless 🙏

Well perhaps your metabolism is finally increasing and you need higher dose now all vitamins are optimal

You are currently on low dose levothyroxine and low dose T3

Approx how much do you weigh in kilo?

Are your levothyroxine/liothyronine prescribed or self-sourced? Just wondering about the possibility of fake meds…

Is it definitely 75mcg Levo? The tablets haven’t got muddled up with smaller dosage tablets have they?

Alternatively, something’s going on with absorption but you seem to be absorbing nutrition so that doesn’t quite make sense either.
