I’ve not been supplementing this for a while as I find it upsets my stomach. I’d like to reintroduce it, any stomach friendly recommendations would be welcome.

Hi,

Ive been dealing with stomach issues for a few years and use magnesium glycinate.

Thank you Imaaan - I seem to have got the stomach under control somewhat by stopping gluten and cow dairy and now that I have relative calm, I really don’t want to trigger it again. Is the glycinate readily available as any particular brand?

I'm glad to hear that you have seen improvement with eliminating those two. I did the same and it was really helpful for me. I've switched over to goat kefir and its doing me wonders.

As for the glycinate, it is. I take two different doses because my system is sensitive to supplements in general. 200mg at lunch and 120mg at supper from a different brand.

I use amazon.ca/CanPrev-Magnesium...

Do you know which form of magnesium is best suited to you? Different forms are for different conditions. Check them out here:

Thank you Seaside Susie - I’d used magnesium citrate previously and I don’t remember it causing any problems but some other supplement did. I used the citrate to helpwith constipation but that seems to be relatively well controlled now that I’ve changed my diet.

Hi

I've used a complex that contains glycinate, gentle on the stomach, and malate which is good for Fibro pain and for energy.

It's Nutrizen magnesium multi-plex, 120 capsules. 2 capsules a day. Also got magnesium bisglycinate in it. I got it from Amazon.
