After a few months struggling with Thyroxine I am back on NDT and after six weeks my results on 3.5 grains are:
TSH .01 (0.27 - 4.2)
FT4 21.2 (12 - 22)
FT3 6.6 (3.1 - 6.8)
I'm happy with them, but the comment from Monitor My Health was,
'Please note, TSH is the most important parameter when considering efficacy of thyroid hormone replacement. A decision to change treatment is based upon both laboratory test and clinical considerations and should be made only in consultation with your healthcare provider.'

You are on NDT, it contains T3, this will inevitably produce a very low or suppressed TSH, it's just what T3 does.
You feel well, just continue as you are and ignore this comment.
I use MMH for my basic monitoring test and I don't remember them asking if you have a diagnosis or whether you are on thyroid replacement hormone so I'm quite puzzled by their comment. Is that a general comment or personal to your own individual case?
I thought it was a bit strange as I have never given them any information or commented on previous results. They have previously told me to make an appointment with my doctor when my results were all over the place while on Thyroxine, but I just ignored it as I have self medicated for years.
If I were you, I would ignore any advice from these Doctors who are probably even more obsessed with the TSH result than your own GP. It’s best to put your results on this forum and get “sensible” advice from more knowledgeable Admins/members.
I'm certainly not bothered by their comments as I have self medicated for years. I'm beginning to think that a doctor who is more interested in Free T3 than TSH is a rare phenomenon.
