I had to get bloods as per request from NHS Endo:

26th March 9am (fasting)

Cortisol. 496

B12 >1500

Folate > 23.7

Ferritin 65 range 13 - 150

Calcium albumin 44 range 35 - 50

29th March 8.30am fasting

TSH 0.2 range 0.2 - 5.5

T3 4.1 range 3.1 - 6.8

T4 24.5 range 10 - 24.5

I haven't changed to amount I take of Levo, however from the last blood test 2nd Feb I changed the dose as follows:

125/100/125/100/125/100/100

Maybe this is too much and I need to revert back to 125/100/100/125/100/100/125

I had a terrible week last week, bed bound couldn't speak without nearly passing out just about crawled to clinic to get these tests. I have got a fungal infection urine test from docs. The endo says I am normal! Obviously I need to lower the T4 back to the previous regime and up the Ferritin again. Amazing that from the last blood test of 2nd Feb my Ferritin was 132 range 13 - 150

I am a poor converter. I just wondered what anybody else could offer as dosing advice. Thanks. X

If you reduce the levo, the FT3 will drop, too. Is that really what you want? You are a poor converter, and what you need is some T3 added to a reduced dose of levo. But, in the absence of that, you need to keep your levo high to get that miserable amount of FT3. And, it's probably the miserable amount of T3 that is making you bed bound and feeling terrible.

Thanks Grey Goose for coming back to me. I really don't know what to do now with T4, is it safe to have keep my T4 so elevated? T3 not really shifting, and yet TSH is quite suppressed.

TSH is suppressed because your FT4 is so high. But, yes, it's safe. T4 is a storage hormone, it doesn't do much until it is converted into T3.
