I'm wanting to get private blood work on my FSH, as my surgery refused to do them, I'm 59 and started to go through the menupause in my early 40s,..43, 44 I think.. And my surgery are going off bloods Done over 7 years ago saying there's no need to do these again, even though I've had a full thyroidectomy in 2019 and are struggling with thyroid medication. I have recently looked into estrogen dominance so that's why I would be interested in seeing what my FSH levels are now, where could I get these bloods done and by whom
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Yes I am having bloods done every 6/7 weeks, 😁 when I can get in to the GPS.. But I have read about estrogen dominance, and I'm not doing to good on T3, Im having a lot of bad symptoms, sweating profusely, shaking, heart beating really fast, pins and needles in arms and legs and just this last last few weeks or so I've noticed I'm flushing really red in my face chest and the palms of my hands, but this can't be my thyroid meds I was on 25mg I'm now on 30mg..t3..so it can't be over medication.. 🤷♀️ Also just to mention my on my last bloods done on the 1st Feb my calcium has risen AGAIN!! so wondering if this could be the reason, 🤷♀️🤷♀️
No I tried T4 4 times but it did not agree with me I felt so rotten on it😩 but my gp ad me on high amounts my first lot was 175mg after thyroid removal.. I was in bed constantly with hyper symptoms, droped to 50mg still the same so changed to T3 I feel better on T3 than T4 but I'm not recovering, every day is a battle, I'm not bedridden as much as I was on T4.. But I thought I would be seeing some improvement going up on T3, but not, 😩
I had the short synacthen test in Nov it came bk OK.. So seem to have covered all sides with endo.. But I can't go bk on T4 as like you the endo said I probably had conversion issues.. My next bloods are due in 2 wks so I will see what my T3, T4 and TSH are then.. But I'm really worried having to go up again.. Been doing 5mg increase T3.. So doing it slowly and keeping it away from foods drink and my other meds for 2 hours.. I do know that hyperparathiyroidism can also cause my symptoms, I was diagnosed with this in 2004 and just last Aug my PTH and calcium were high, my pth is still high.. Calcium corrected but as since gone up again.. Just had blood work on Monday for pth and calcium still waiting on results 🤷♀️
Yes last T4 was 2.8 i think.. That's why the locum doctor at my surgery tried me on T4 again.. 😩😩And again I was really ill.. So other doctor took me back off it.. It made no difference to my T4 reading either, 🤷♀️ I saw a locum on Monday for the blood draw for the PTH and calcium, he noted how ill I looked and noticed the fast heartbeat sweating ect, he asked did I have a cold, has my voice is very croaky (ment to tell you that before,, 🙄brain fog) I said no but it could be because of hyperparathiyroidism I had a very croaky voice then to... He just said ho I'm sorry I know nothing about thyroid problems, THANKS DOC.. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yeah good analogy, unfortunately we seem to be getting locum gp of late, who know nothing about my previous history, so you have to try to tell them as fast as you can because you can see they don't have the time for you to waffle on, I was trying to tell him about my symptoms and he just carried on fiddling about with his computer and printer... 🙄🙄🙄
