Do you mean you only take extra 10mcg T3 now and then ?
It doesn’t work like that......you need to take exactly same dose T3 every day
You might find splitting into 3 doses is better
10mcg at 7am and 5mcg at 3pm and 5mcg at 11pm
Was this test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test. Last 5mcg dose T3 8-12 hours before test?
If yes.....
Ft4 is high in range
Perhaps consider very slight reduction in levothyroxine. Perhaps reduce by 25mcg one a week. So 100mcg x 6 and 75mcg x 2
Hi Slow Dragon hope you are keeping well. Sorry I meant 10mg twice a day - my consultant told me over a year ago to take the extra ten if I felt I needed it. I have to had vitamin d tested since October 2019 as I can’t see my consultant due to the restrictions in Ireland.
I thought maybe my ferritin could be better I haven’t spoken to my GP for iron as receptionists said results were satisfactory. I just feel so dizzy and shaky on it.
Thank you so much for your advice I would be lost without this forum.😊
