Hi everyone my test results say I’m now too low for my TSH but yet my T4 is only in the middle now. Labs don’t test T3 so I can’t even compare unless I get it checked privately. To be honest I’m still feeling tired when I am very busy but then I’m not used to being so busy. I don’t really know what to do. Obviously I can’t go up else my TSH would be well below minimum. I haven’t had my vitamins checked since the last ones I posted but I don’t really have the funds to do it all private at the moment. Maybe my doctor is right with original diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome. I was really hoping it was all down to my thyroid and although it’s improved when I over do it I’m still the same as I was before. Any advice?

To be perfectly honest, the TSH is the least of your problems! You are tired, etc. because you are under-medicated. Mid-range is too low for the majority of hypos. Pity you can't get your FT3 tested, but the odds are that as your FT4 is too low, your FT3 will almost certainly be. And, it's low T3 that causes symptoms.

It's a pity about the TSH, because the lower it is, the worse your conversion is likely to be. But, there's no advantage to reducing and already too low dose just to raise the TSH. So, too bad about the TSH, it's the FT3 that is important. Increase the levo and see how you feel. :)

If I did get my FT3 tested and it was still too low, would it not be more beneficial to try taking something to increase FT3 instead? Or will I find doctors hesitant? I think if I ask to increase again they would decline on that my TSH is too low.
