Blood Test Results

Hello,

I’d really appreciate your thought re my results. In June I did a finger prick test and I was on 3.5 grains of NDT from Thailand. The results were

TSH 0.01 mu/L ( 0.27-4.2)

FT4 14 Pmol/L ( 12-22)

FT3 5.9 pmol/L (3.1-6.8)

Vit D test spoiled twice so no result.

Are these results optimal for NDT? I wasn’t feeling fantastic but that could have been due to stress at the time.

I then ran out of NDT and had to go back on Levo. These were my results after 6 weeks on Levo taken by GP. I was on 150 of Levo.

TSH 0.59 mu/L (0.27-4.20)

No FT4 tested for some reason!!

FT3 3.6 pmol/L (3.2-6.8)

Ferritin 139 ug/L (15-300)

Vit B12 409 nhs/L (180-700)

Folate 10.5 ug/L (4.6-18.7)

When back on Levo I felt really awful again and gained weight very quickly. Since then I’ve purchased Amour and have been taking 3 grains for 3 weeks and will test again in another 3 weeks.

I guess my main question is about the vitamin levels. Are these considered optimal? Or should I be taking supplements? Also was I optimally medicated when on the NDT?

Yes you had an excellent level of T3 on NDT. I have just been offered armour by my private doc. Did you have any problems with your heart rate? That is my main worry as last time I tried it my heart was racing after a few days😲

Hi magsyh, no so far I haven’t had any side effects. Good luck if you decide to try Armour again.
