Is this Regenerus, did it take a long time? I've just sent mine off today. Normally the results are back in 7-14 days.
Can you add the picture to your opening post so that we can see how you compare to the normal curve, I'm not good at visualising.
Your AM30 level is dire. Noon and evening levels far too low, nighttime one should be near the bottom of the range so not too bad. DHEA is very low so.
Maybe you need to see your GP.
Hidden knows lot about NHS cortisol testing I think.
Hi SeasideSusie thank you for prompt response my hearts going like the clappers here lol I just can’t take in all this stuff much as I try.
Yes it’s regenerous test as you suggested previously because medichecks didn't do Dhea.in fairness it didn’t take them long it was a 10 day turnaround but it feels like forever.
I think the green band for the evening it says it’s within range and the yellow for night which is just under range I think.none of it means anything to me ive no knowledge of this stuff looks like I’ll have a lot of reading to do.thank you for your help susie.
Thrones, have a look at the little diamonds beside each result. They are coloured the same as the bands, so if you are in the green band there will be a green diamond etc. Your AM30 will have a blue diamond, the Noon will have a yellow diamond, what are the last two?
• Morning at the top of the range- we now this is dire
• Noon approximately 75% of the range - so possibly about 8.5 for that
• Evening close to 50% of the range- maybe 3.5 for that one
• Nighttime at the bottom of the range - looking to be close to 1 so you're almost there for that one
If your AM30 wasn't so low I'd be thinking maybe adrenal glandular or cortex will help raise your levels but I honestly don't know if that suggests maybe your GP organising a morning cortisol test. Pauline knows about them so have a look through some of her replies by clicking on any headings here:
Thank you so much again I’ll have a good read later when my nerves have settled down a bit and see if I can absorb any more.im wondering if maybe my morning one was taken too early I took it around 5am as I only sleep a couple of hours then wake then sleep and that night I was wide awake at 5am so maybe that was too close to the bedtime reading? Thank you xx
Awww- You have a great resource with all these lovely people on here. There some extremely clever and knowledgeable people on here who am sure will comment soon. Hang in there Thrones..... xx
Hi SlowDragon no I’m not on anything to do with thyroid after initial advice on here I’ve been busy optimising my b12 d3/k2 and folate and the plan was in April get bloods retested to see where everything is.
God I’m feeling really lost now sorry I get myself so upset trying to work all this out.
Should I go ahead now and arrange an endo appointment with the guy I had researched ,Dr Paul Jenkins,or should I redo the blood results via medichecks a month earlier than planned, sorry I’m not asking I’m just thinking aloud because my hearts pounding away.snce this head injury I’ve struggled with my thoughts and never felt like me for such a long time now.I struggle to be rational..I think he may be my best chance at getting the treatment I need because I’ve still no clue if I’m doing the right stuff or going in the right direction and I know you guys have issues of your own so I feel so unfair packing at your brains when you have so much going on in your own lives I’m so sorry xx
No I not vegetarian possible p.a but don’t know and I’m on b12 lozenge things that seem to make me feel better than the spray did.
I’ve not been to new gps yet I’m not long registered with them and I just don’t know where to start or how to approach them I e seen so many consultants over last three years and gotten no where.x
Sorry I've only just seen this as it hasn't shown up any notifications! Your cortisol levels are rather flat & don't follow the usual pattern on being high in the morning & then dropping. I would ask your GP to do an early morning blood cortisol & to refer you to an endocrinologist, however it is important to see one that understands pituitary/adrenal issues as not all of them do, if you let me know where you are I can pm you your local Centre of Excellence.

Hi PaulineS thanks so much for advice.Ive arranged an appointment at the London endocrine centre with Dr Paul Jenkins he seems to know his stuff and his secretary told me to bring as much as possible re test results etc as he’s very aware if we are self funding we need to keep our costs down so that’s a good realistic attitude right away isn’t it.
It’s not until 15th April first available but ive struggled along this long so I’m happy to wait.i have asked to be put on cancellation list too.xx
