Has anyone tried the supplements from Forefront Health which improved their health and cell absorption of thyroid meds?

I use one of their products and think they are good quality. I believe the thyroid is sourced from bovine...check that out as we normally take the porcine product.

I haven't used their supplements as they would have to come from USA. But I do follow their advice as his theory is based on Ray Peat. I've had some very odd symptoms since starting levothyroxine and it's the only place I've had a full explanation of my problems. The Facebook page has been of great help to me.

I would be reluctant to take anything that was going to benefit Tom Brimeyer. I don't know what he advises now, but a few years ago he was encouraging people to eat a diet which contained lots of sugar. See this old post :

I use his products along with other brands i.e. one or 2 drops of Vitamin A,D,K with another brand D, the progesterone drops at night with another cream during the day, and a sprinkle of the thyroid glandular. [I find the glandular rather strong.]

Hi how did you find the progesterone drops? I tried his thyroid glandular & felt nothing but I’ve only done the 65 mg so far. I also have tried Thyrovanz. Not a fan of Brimeyers view on Demonizing estrogen - I know Peat does this and he follows him.

I only use the progesterone drops occasionally now because of the cost. Like I said, I found the thyroid glandular really strong.

Ya, I stopped taking Vitex because have read different things about it raising estrogen, but we do need estrogen too..

I like his alternative theories, but I do notice by the dates of the comments that a lot of it is recycled from 2017.

I think I like the progesterone drops. I kind of use them here and there but I did use them steadily ling enough to test and found 3-4 drops did raise my blood P level from dismal to a 4 of/ml I think ? The oralP is pricey but I’m gonna shop around. I did take Vitex for a while. Not sure it helped any since I’m already post menopausal.

When you see a user name of Hidden, it means that the person is no longer a member of this forum.

We often close posts that were originated by people who have left - there is no point in wasting our time making replies. Occasionally, the thread might still be active and popular and will be left. More often, it is simply a case of none of the admins noticing!
