Hi I have ongoing issues with bursitis / tendonitis could it be I am deficient in a particular vitamin etc that could be contributing to this.

Overall my health has improved on T3 and I prefer to be over range as I feel better but do worry about concerns to the impact this may have in my body/organs due to being over the nhs ranges. Although as others have posted before I go by how I feel.

I do believe the issues I have are as a consequence from Hashimotos I’m just hoping I’ve missed something

Blood tests only test what's in the blood, not what gets into the cells. And, thyroid hormone does do anything in the blood. So, you could be over-range for a blood test but not getting much into the cells, and if it doesn't get into the cells, it won't have any impact. Some of us just need high levels in the blood to get enough into the cells. :)

That’s great thanks! So there is no long term risk in taking a higher dose? I’m only 7.8 (3.8-6.8) on 56.5mcg T3.

I’ve ordered a magnesium complex do you think this could help with muscles / tendons etc

It could do, yes. What is in a magnesium complex?

IngredientsMagnesium complex (magnesium bisglycinate, magnesium oxide), magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate, magnesium malate, Vegetarian Colourless Capsules (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), magnesium taurate, Organic Rice Extract Blend Nu-MAGTM️ and Organic Rice Fiber Nu-FLOWTM️.

Well, that's a bit of a cheat, because the magnesium oxide probably won't get absorbed. So, I hope there's not a high percentage of that.

Dear FG ..

I have Graves Disease .. and , as part of a health plan for staying Euthyroid.......

I decided for particular reasons to start to take Acetyl L Carnitine and Regular L Carnitine On a daily basis.

I have never eaten meat in my life , so I was pretty sure I would be deficient in it !

I did a lot of research into it .....and with the help of a great friend who had been a medical researcher for 35 years , who also has Graves' disease .....I began to take it about 9 months ago ... it helped me so much with the muscle pain that we Thyroid patients suffer from .

.... but !

I have had bursitis in my hip for about 14

Years ... and It caused me dreadful pain throughout that time .. about two weeks after I started the Carnitines

... Bursitis Gone !

I hope that you can do a bit of research into it too .. and decide for yourself if you think it might help you too .. I can assure you , it fixed my Bursitis very quickly indeed .

Oh wow thank you so much for this info! What dose do you take and did you start low and increase?

Where would you recommend I buy it from or a good brand?

Thank you again 🙏🏼

Before you buy these two Carnitines...

. I would urge you try to read as much as you can about them first .....as I am not a doctor and can only tell you what it has done for me ... and also my dear friend .

There is plenty of information regarding these two Carnitines online

... and the many ways in which they benefit people .. especially people with Thyroid diseases and deficiencies .

Google ... Carnitine for muscle ligament and tendons .

The way I see it in my minds eye is that it is a food for these areas of the body .

And also allows these areas to replenish .

I could not believe how quickly it worked for me .

So before you just buy it and take ... learn about it first .. and if you do that and want to know more about the dosages that's I used .. we can discuss again .

Good luck researching ... first

Mx🌹
