TTC and Thyroid concerns

Hi All,

I posted a little while ago and have been keeping up with the recommendations of

the forum but have just had a new set of results for advice. Just as a recap I'm TTC and go do with your help to get things right. I'm not on levothyroxine so could do with advice. The antibodies seem to be very much higher than last time.

TSH: 1.15 (Ref 1.3 - 4.5)

T3 Free: 4.74 (Ref 4.61- 6.45)

T3 Total: 1.56 (ref 1.39 - 2.79)

T4 Free: 22 (Ref 12.87 - 23.17)

T4 Total: (Ref 77.22 - 154.44)

TPO: 29 (Ref Below 35)

Thyroglobulin Abs: 331 (Ref Below 115)

Thanks

Looks like you missed off the Total T4 result?

As it stands your FT4 is near to,of range but FT3 right at bottom of range

Have you had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested?

These need to be optimal for good thyroid function

Hi Slowdragon,

Yes must have missed that off... The other results are below.

Total T4: 126.6

Vitamin D: 109.32 (nmol/l)

Ferratin: 53.2 ng/ml

Vitamin D is good

Ferritin on low side. Iron rich foods plus vitamin C may help improve

Total T4 is pretty good. So you are poor converter as FT3 is low

Sorry again!

Missed off

Folate: 42.58 nmol/L

B12: 471.45 pmol/L

What are the ranges on these?

Presumably you are supplementing a folate or folic acid? As folate looks high

B12 might be better over 500

Just looked at your previous post. Might be good idea to retest vitamin D and ferritin especially

Your tpo is not high !

You take levothyroxin? Or cytomel ?

Do you take your medication before blood test ?

Not what you're looking for?
